Other projects working on AHA:
SHAFE
Through a 'learning by sharing' methodology, this multi-disciplinary and intersectoral consortium will build a quadruple-helix European community to exchange experiences and practices to improve multilevel policy instruments. The EU SHAFE project is following up on work developed in EIP on AHA Action Group D4 – Age Friendly Environments.
SCIROCCO
The SCIROCCO project highlights a practical tool, which had its genesis in the collaborative efforts fostered by the EIP on AHA. The project was based on the work developed by EIP on AHA’s B3 Action Group on Integrated Care, that started the concept of the B3 Maturity Model.
GATEKEEPER
GATEKEEPER is a European Multi Centric Large-Scale Pilot on Smart Living Environments. The main objective is enabling the creation of a platform that connects healthcare providers, businesses, entrepreneurs, and elderly citizens and the communities they live in.
PlatformUptake
The PlatformUptake.eu project assesses the societal impact of open platforms created for the development of innovative solutions in the AHA domain. It creates monitoring and evaluation toolkits, collects successful user stories, and best practices to promote common evolution of such platforms within existing policy frameworks and initiatives.
NET4Age-Friendly
The aim of NET4Age-Friendly is to establish an international and interdisciplinary network of researchers from all sectors to foster awareness, and to support the creation and implementation of smart, healthy, indoor and outdoor environments for present and future generations.
EURIPHI
EURIPHI aims to create a Europe-wide consortium of public procurers and healthcare providers in the health and social care sector, which will define unmet needs in today’s procurement practices in order to implement innovation and integrated solutions using ‘Pre-commercial procurement’ (PCP)1 or ‘Public procurement of innovative solutions’ (PPI)2 in health and care systems.
IDIH
International Digital Health Cooperation for Preventive, Integrated, Independent and Inclusive Living is a European Union funded project under Horizon 2020. It brings together organisations from the EU and five Strategic Partner Countries: Canada, China, Japan, South Korea and the USA, aiming to increase international collaboration to advance digital health to support active and healthy ageing through innovation.
SHAPES
The SHAPES Innovation Action (IA) intends to build, pilot and deploy a large-scale, EU-standardised open platform. The integration of a broad range of technological, organisational, clinical, educational and societal solutions seeks to facilitate long-term healthy and active ageing and the maintenance of a high-quality standard of life.
eCare
The objective of eCare is to launch a Pre-Commercial Procurement call for tender to deliver disruptive digital solutions for the prevention and comprehensive management of frailty to encourage independent living, wellbeing and to relieve health and care services budget pressure.

EIT Health
EIT Health was established in 2015, as a knowledge and innovation community (KIC) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The EIT is made up of various KICs who each focus on a different sector, or area, of innovation – in this case, health and aging.
ECHAlliance
ECHAlliance is the Global Connector, facilitating multi-stakeholder connections around ecosystems, driving sustainable change and disruption in the delivery of health and social care.
EHTEL
EHTEL is a unique, pan-European multidisciplinary stakeholder organisation, bringing together corporate, institutional, and individual actors dedicated to the improvement of healthcare delivery through digital health.
Active and Assisted Living Programme (AAL)
AAL is a European initiative aiming to support a better life for older people and sustainability of health systems. It promotes innovative solutions in the field of work and healthy ageing and helps innovators launch their products by funding active projects that create ready-to-market solutions, products, and services for older people.
AGE Platform Europe
AGE Platform Europe is a European network of non-profit organisations for and by people aged 50+, which aims to promote the interests of the 200 million citizens aged 50+ in the EU and to raise awareness on the issues that concern them most.
Joint Programming Initiative More Years, Better Lives
JPI MYBL is a network of 17 countries from in- and outside of Europe are working on a programmed approach to enhance coordination and collaboration between national and international research programmes related to demographic change.
